School talk themes: Friendship and Inclusion

Let’s brainstorm about your next school event and what you’d like your students to hear. I’m on +61 403931636 or you can email me.

I present school talks, assembly speeches, classroom readings and public speaking workshops so I can share my stories with children and teachers. I use cartoons, video, photography, music and dance in all my presentations to make them fun and colourful.

I speak all year round, and my favourite time is National Harmony Week (15-21 March) when schools run activities to celebrate multiculturalism in Australia.

The speech I deliver in schools the most is:

Celebrate. Share. Maximise – An inspirational speech designed to encourage children to celebrate themselves, their culture and heritage; share their differences, stories, and talents with others; and maximise their differences for personal and career success.

It is very easy to tailor to any age group and can be presented to one classroom or a large assembly gathering.

Kindy & Primary School Talks

My new book Multicultural Me is written for primary school age children. At the moment schools are simply asking me to tell their students why I wrote the book. (The kindergarten children love the pictures!)

High School & University Talks

No topic is off bounds with older students. I discuss everything from choosing the right friends to applying for the right jobs. I want them to believe there is always hope after high school and university!
